I am a Site Manager in Edinburgh and have been working for GSS for nearly 2 years. I was a delivery driver before coming to GSS but my previous company didn’t offer the opportunities that GSS do. I started here as a driver too, where I worked hard, learnt a lot, and then was promoted to a Site Manager. Working at GSS is like being a part of a big family, with never ending support. My biggest achievement would have to be recently getting offered the opportunity to deputise for my Manager which I couldn’t have done without my team in Edinburgh.

After being made redundant from my previous employer, I was approached by GSS to join them. Due to their welcoming vibe and company values( where everyone is valued as an individual), I am still here! During my time with GSS, my role has evolved, and I have now progressed to an Account Manager. I’m excited to see what the future holds for GSS and hope to work on exciting new projects within the business. Joining the logistics industry was a big change from being a dementia patient career previously, but change has been good so far.

I have been working for GSS for several years now and I have always worked in the logistics field. I worked for one of the biggest online retailers previously but was unable to develop or better myself the way I wanted to. Go Services have allowed me to grow. Working here means you are a part of a cohesive team, and you are made to feel like you are a part of a crew ship that always sales towards new lands. Together, we can always face any issues and struggles. During my employment, one of the most satisfying parts of my role was that I was able to support many individuals that unfortunately fell victim to the demise of a contract competitor by helping them find and sign up with us so they could work and make sure that they got paid in a timely manner.

I have been a Site Manager in Norwich coming up to 8 years, I was a driver for 1 year prior to becoming an onsite manager. It was because of the good reputation GSS have that I joined the company. Not only is GSS respectful and flexible, my co-workers are also supportive and we all work well as a team. We have great moments and as the kids say GOOD VIBES ONLY.

I have been with GSS for 6 years, of which I was a driver for 1 year before quickly progressing to lead driver and then onto my current position. Working for GSS is great! We all work as a strong team and support one another. During my spare time I travel, try new food and spend time with my loved ones.

After a lengthy career in the Prison Service, I decided I wanted to completely change careers and find exciting new challenges. By chance, I stumbled into the world of Amazon where they had recently started Amazon Logistics.
My initial role involved overseeing delivery experiences and the driver training program and pretty quickly I was hooked! Having worked my way up through Account Management of 3PLs I ended up managing Audit and Compliance for the UK whilst supporting the introduction of these to our European counterparts.
Leaving Amazon to join GSS was a big decision to make, however once I did the due diligence and really understood the GSS vision and values, the choice became an easy one and I haven't looked back.
As a business, GSS works tirelessly to understand and satisfy the needs of our customers but also the needs of the team of brilliant employees we have to run the show. Looking after people is one of our main focuses within the company and through this, we create an enthusiasm to succeed in all departments that is fresh, energising and vital to our successes. I am incredibly proud to be part of this GSS team and cannot wait to see how the future unfolds for us.
